By bike on the tracks of the HfG
Guided bicycle tour through Ulm (In German Language)
The former Hochschule für Gestaltung Ulm (1953-68) has also left its mark outside the campus at Kuhberg in Ulm.The guided bicycle tour explores the stations of this important school of design in the post-war period: Starting with the building designed by the Swiss architect Max Bill, the tour continues via Söflingen, the home of the Aicher family, to the former home of the Scholl family in Olgastraße. The tour ends with the impressive memorial to the fallen in World War II in Ulm’s cemetery, which was also designed by members of the HfG.
