Declaration of accessibility
The HfG Archive endeavours to make its website accessible without barriers in accordance with § 10 paragraph 1 of the State Disability Equality Act (L-BGG).
This accessibility statement applies to the version of this website currently accessible on the Internet (www.hfg-archiv.museumulm.de).
Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is partially compatible with section 10(1) of the L-BGG due to the following exceptions.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
Incompatibility with section 10(1) L-BGG due to a disproportionate burden under section 10(2) L-BGG.
Easy language is only partially implemented
The contents are not yet provided in German sign language
Some of the graphics used on the website (images, controls, symbols) are not provided with alternative texts and image descriptions.
Subtitles and transcriptions are not available for embedded videos.
Documents, such as PDF files for download, are not yet comprehensively provided barrier-free.
The website is not (fully) keyboard accessible
The website has a sitemap, but not a search function.
We are working on the barrier-free implementation of the content listed above. At present, not all content is accessible without restrictions, as the implementation of the guidelines would mean an excessive organisational burden for the HfG Archive as a municipal institution with scarce personnel and financial resources. The financial cost of removing all barriers on the current website version is disproportionate, as a general redesign and relaunch of the website is planned by 2021, in the course of which an accessible concept will also be implemented. We do not currently offer accessible alternatives for the non-accessible content. However, we are at your disposal via the contact details below and will work on individual solutions if required.
Creation of this Accessibility Statement
This declaration was prepared on 08.09.2020 using the self-audit method in accordance with Section 4 (2) of the L-BGG. The declaration was last reviewed on 08.09.2020.
